BEGINNERS CANING CLASS-  A two hour class that intoduces the student to the joy of working with clay.  The class encompuses everything from opening your block of clay to the finished product.  The class includes a four color package of clays, (you select the color kit) a blade, and written instructions.  I will show you a basic cane and then you will decide which one you want to make and what you would like to apply it to.  I will work with you to finish the cane and the project you decide on.

BEGINNERS CANING CLASS 2--x-A three or four hour class that introduces the student to the joy of working with clay.  The class encompuses everything from opening your block of clay to the finsihed product.  The class includes a four color package of clay (you select the color kit) a blade, and written instructions.  I will show you three basic canes and then you will decide which one you want to make and what you would like to apply it to.  I will work with you to finish the cane and the project you decide on.

Button Bracelet Class- Two days- The first day you will learn how to make the buttons using caning techniques.  Each student will make a complex cane.  The complex cane will then be formed into buttons.  You will also make some molded buttons.  I will show you how to make your own molds from buttons and  I will have buttons on hand to make molds from.
The second day you will use the buttons to make a button bracelet.   I will also demonstrate other types of button jewelry and how to make them.  If time permits you are welcome to try some of those.
